Known as the birthplace of the Yagyu Shinkage-ryu, "Swords and Yagyu no Sato" is a

mountain village that is rich in nature; located in the eastern part of Nara City.

It has been 50 years since The Yagyu Tourism Association formed on July 25, 1964.

We have organized various projects, such as the Yagyu Sakura Festival, to promote the

tourist locations in Yagyu and to maintain and preserve these facilities.

This website was created in order to introduce you to tourist locations, traditions and

cultures of our Yagyu village. We hope to expand our community and hope people find

beauty in our village.

My name is Kuroda Atsushi. I have arrived in the eastern area of Nara City in September

2014; and after resigning at the end of August 2017, he has been in charge of the Yagyu

Tourism Association since September. I would like to deliver the beautiful seasonal

changes in Yagyu.。
